Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)

From the Session 2019-20, the model CBCS system is introduced with 14 core papers, 4 DSE papers, 4 GE papers, 3 AECC papers, and 2 SEC papers. An undergraduate degree with Honours in a discipline may be awarded if a student completes 14 core papers in that discipline, 3 Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC), minimum 2 Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), 4 papers from a list of Discipline Specific Elective and 4 papers from one discipline or 2 papers each in two disciplines other than his /her core discipline. In each semester, One has to study Ethics and Values with 1 credit point each in all the 6 semesters.
